Happy Margarita Day! (And yes, it is totally for real)
I mean, National Margarita Day? That is a holiday I could totally get behind. I do love me a good margarita. Yet, I’ve only ever posted ONE margarita recipe. One. That’s just sad. Although I do love these Blackberry Margaritas…
Anywho… I definitely needed a new one. And this time, it’s extra special- it’s brunch approved! We all know the typical mimosa or bloody mary, but I think we could all use a little more tequila to start our days. Bring out these Frozen Strawberry Banana Margaritas. It’s like a kicked up smoothie!
It’s chilled, creamy, fresh and so, so fruity! It’s a smooth and tasty treat, and when the glass is lined with coarse salt, oh my gosh, I’m in heaven.
Other than spending my weekend developing the perfect margarita brunch recipe, it has been pretty relaxing. Lately I’ve been really into the show Married by Mom & Dad. This show just fascinates me. I couldn’t imagine just relying on my parents to choose a spouse for me! I guess maybe if you really trusted their opinion. Regardless, this show has me hooked. I just can’t get enough! Plus it’s about weddings so that always helps =)
