Hello there and thank you for visiting my blog.
My name is Shelby and I am the founder of Go Eat and Repeat. The purpose of this blog is to share my most favorite, tried and true recipes for the average home chef. My style of eating is fresh, whole food. I enjoy recipes that use whole ingredients that cut back on fat without sacrificing flavor. I particularly enjoy Mediterranean cuisine and take a lot of inspiration from the flavors used and passion they give to their food. In addition to this, I also have a serious sweet tooth. Most of my early cooking experience comes from spending time in the kitchen baking (which eventually later extended over to savory dishes).
So anyways, more about me. I am a twenty something grad student pursuing one of my truest passions in life: food. I never understand it when people say they forgot to eat a meal. Most days I plan my schedule around what I want to eat that day! I love eating and subsequently love cooking. I currently am a graduate student working towards my Masters in Business Administration. As lovely as this is, I have been looking for a forum to express my passion for all things food. When I’m not cooking, however, I’m usually taking our two Golden Retrievers out for a walk, taking exercise classes at the gym, or on Skype with my boyfriend. He is in the Navy and is stationed abroad which means I have a lot more time to myself to work on these recipes so that when he is home he eats nothing but perfect meals.
